This system helps one do what they do, better.

‍ ‍Group sessions offer a consistent practice of moving with peers in person or on zoom. Private, in-person sessions meet the individual needs of the client physically, as well as emotionally and energetically each session.

GYROKINESIS®

GYROKINESIS® movement is a practice performed without specialized equipment, making it accessible and adaptable for a wide range of bodies and abilities. Classes are centered around rhythmic, flowing sequences that coordinate breath with movement to mobilize the spine, strengthen the core, and promote freedom and ease throughout the entire body. Much of the work begins seated on a stool, which is provided for in-person classes. For Zoom sessions, a stable dining chair or stool that supports an upright posture and has no wheels is recommended. As the practice progresses, movements transition to standing and floor work, where a yoga mat and pillows are often used to provide comfort and support. Through gentle repetition and mindful attention, the Gyrokinesis Method cultivates strength, flexibility, coordination, and a greater sense of well-being.

GYROTONIC®

The GYROTONIC® Method utilizes specialized equipment and individualized instruction available at the studio. At the heart of the practice is the Gyrotonic Tower, which employs a weighted pulley system and adjustable handles to support fluid, three-dimensional movement. The resistance and assistance provided by the equipment help facilitate strength, coordination, and expansion of one's range of motion while encouraging efficient movement patterns throughout the entire body. Exercises are performed in smooth, rhythmic sequences that integrate breath with movement, promoting spinal mobility, joint stability, and balanced muscular engagement. Adaptable to individual needs and abilities, the Gyrotonic Method offers a unique approach to building strength, enhancing flexibility, and cultivating greater ease and vitality in everyday movement.
